This is one of the procedures we discuss most frequently at Alfa Customs Agency - and one of the key issues for exporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What exactly is customs clearance for export? What documents are needed, when can we export the goods and why is the IE599 message so important? Goods only become exported once the customs declaration has been accepted by the customs office, which gives them the appropriate status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Martin points out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eWe can only export Community goods. If the goods have lost this status, we cannot apply the export procedure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When can the physical export of goods begin?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Exporting is not just about loading and departure - it is a customs procedure that requires the approval of the office. <strong>Goods may be exported outside the European Union only after acceptance of the customs declaration by the customs office.<\/strong>. This is the point at which the goods are placed under the export procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What confirms that the goods have left the EU?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most important document that completes the export procedure is the IE599 message. It is issued by the last customs office of the European Union through which the goods leave the Community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eFor exporters, the IE599 is a key document - it is proof that the goods have actually left the EU. It is on the basis of it that we can claim a VAT refund.\u201d - Marcin explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What documents are needed for export clearance?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To carry out an export clearance, you most often need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Commercial invoice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transport document (CMR, AWB, B\/L)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Packing list<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exporter's EORI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Description of goods and CN code (Harmonised System)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information on the country of destination<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customs declaration (usually by a customs agency)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At Alfa Customs Agency, we prepare all the documentation and ensure that the procedure is carried out correctly - from declaration to receipt of the IE599.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why should you entrust your export to a customs agency?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At first glance, the procedure appears simple.
